Use this configuration if you want to read your electricity data through a Gateway with Blinker Sensor and you need to forward your WIFI signal with a WirelessWire Gateway. ![]() Note: Installation 1/2 (Install Gateway with Blinker Sensor on electricity meter) Your configuration consists of two devices. Put the WirelessWire Gateway aside for the beginning. You will be asked to install it later. Product Overview: Gateway with Blinker Sensor Go to your electricity meter and take the following with you: - Your gateway with blinker sensor incl. accessories - Your smartphone with the aliunid HOME app installed - The name and password of your WLAN Open the aliunid HOME app on your smartphone Go to the menu (top left) and select the section "My electricity meters" Click on "Add meter" and follow the step-by-step instructions Select the configuration "Gateway with Blinker Sensor" + WirelessWire Gateway" Scan the QR code from your Gateway with Blinker Sensor Attach the supplied antenna to the body of your Gateway. Now place your Gateway on top of your electricity meter or in a suitable place next to it (less than 30cm away). Connect your Gateway to the power supply, if necessary with an extension cable. ![]() It
is important that you do not place the Gateway more than 30cm from your
electricity meter, otherwise the sensor cable, which we will connect in
a later step, will be too short. ![]() Set Impulsrate Select
the Impulsrate of your electricity meter or type it in manually. This
can be found on the housing of your electricity meter (unit imp/kWh). ![]() If you cannot find your Impulsrtae, press the green bubble with question mark. Fred will then show you a list of the most common electricity meters and the corresponding pulse rate. Choose WLW channel Choose one of the available channels. Which one is only important if several parties in the same house want to install a Gateway. Now place the centering aid exactly in the middle of the flashing light on your electricity meter. ![]() If
you can't find your flashing light, press the green bubble with the
question mark. Fred will then show you a list of the most common
electricity meters and the corresponding flashing light. Now you can stick the round, adhesive dot in the middle of the centering aid. Then attach the sensor head to the adhesive dot so that the aliunid flower faces outward. Connect the sensor to the Gateway by plugging the cable from the sensor head into the body. Finally, you can attach the Gateway next to your electric meter with the adhesive strips. Pay attention to the following: - the QR-Code on the body should still be accessible - the cover of the electricity meter should still be removable Firmware Installation Now the required firmware is installed on the Gateway via smartphone. ![]() A Bluetooth connection is required to tranfer the firmware from your smartphone to the Gateway. If you have not yet switches on Bluetooth on your smartphone, you will now be prompted to do so. (Attention: older Android models request your "Location access", which is an unfavourable designation, but we cannot change anything about this, as it is specified by Android). ![]() If
your smartphone has neither mobile internet nor WLAN reception, it will
not be able to download the firmware. In this case, you should go to a
place where you have reception and return to your electricity meter
after downloading so that the firmware can be transferred to your
gateway. |
